Hearts Wide Open Available for Purchase

Some loss is chosen, while others have loss thrust upon them.  Does our choice - or lack of choice - in the matter affect the consequence of it?  These are questions that haunt Laura and her sister Abby, as well as the men in their life, as they try and come to grips with their recent losses.

Laura and Steven McCord struggle to come to grips with the seemingly inevitable loss of the very child that brought them together in the first place - and what that means for their marriage, and their life as they know it.

Abby and Tom Reynolds, meanwhile, wade through the turmoil of new love that comes with the baggage of a previous divorce, and what that implies for their future.

And all the while, John Baxter, the patriarch of the family, tries to regain his family's trust and love - lost to him in the consequences of one tragic instant.

Hearts Wide Open explores the loss that we deal with on any level, its place in deciding our future, and whether or not it's truly possible to love in the wake of loss the way we did before it - with our hearts wide open.

Ever With Me April 2011

Is it ever too late for second chances?  When has too much time passed, and at what point does a rift become too big to mend?  These are the questions that Caroline Kelly, along with daughters Emma and Brittany, must face as Caroline prepares to divorce the girls' father.

For Caroline, divorce brings a second chance at both life and love - though unbeknownst to her family, that second chance is intended entirely for her soon to be ex-husband.  For Caroline, love left one fateful day in 1974 and still hasn't come back.  Finally, well into her 50's, she decides to 'let her husband go' - freeing him to find the love she's never been able to give him.

Caroline's reasons are lost on her daughters - Emma moves out and refuses to speak to her mother, while Brittany struggles with her next move, torn between sisterhood and loyalty to the woman who raised her.

For Caroline, sudden flashbacks and long forgotten memories begin to haunt her once again.  The only way to put an end to them seems to be re-visiting a place she hasn't set foot in for almost 30 years, and all the tragedy that came with it - but does she have the strength for it?

Soon Caroline, Emma and Brittany find themselves tangled in a life-changing chain of events, both past and present, that will turn their worlds upside-down.

Ever With Me is a story about facing your past by forging a future; A woman trying to undo three decades of damage, a prodigal daughter, and a young girl desperately trying to hold her family together - all of whom must learn that against all odds, it's never too late for second chances.

Things Hoped For In progress

For years, Ian and Darby McCallum have dreamed of owning their own land.  Now they are finally watching their dream come to fruition as they settle into Maple Ridge Farm, nestled on 15 picturesque acres in beautiful, rural Pennsylvania.  Their new life is everything they'd hoped it would be - until the increasingly bizarre presence of an uninvited neighbor threatens to tear apart the peace of their quiet community - and the life of an elderly woman they have come to love.

As Darby's suspicions of the stranger mount, she must decide whether to trust her instincts, even at the risk of driving a permanent wedge between herself and her husband, and further endangering the life of the very woman she is trying to save.

Things Hoped For explores what happens when that most basic and necessary of emotions - a simple hope in the promise of another day - is taken away; and what is left in its stead.
